These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Tavirex (the "Service"), operated by Smart Technology Investments LLC ("Company," "we," "us," "our"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Tavirex, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and agree to comply with them. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Tavirex uses publicly available assessment data, comparable sales records, and statistical modeling to analyze property tax assessments. The Service provides assessment ratio analysis, comparable sales regression, appeal probability estimates, and savings projections. The Service is informational only.

3. Not Tax or Legal Advice

Tavirex is not a licensed tax advisor, appraiser, or attorney. The analysis provided is based on publicly available data and statistical models. Results do not constitute recommendations to file or not file a property tax appeal.

You should always:

Verify assessed values directly with your county assessor
Check appeal deadlines with your local Board of Review
Consult a tax professional or attorney for personalized advice
Review official assessment notices before taking action

4. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Our estimates are derived from county assessor records, Census ACS data, state equalization board reports, and Tax Foundation research. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data derived from third-party sources.

Estimates are probabilistic, not guarantees. A high appeal probability does not guarantee a successful appeal. Savings projections are based on statistical models that may not reflect your actual outcome.

5. Permitted Use

You may use the Service for lawful personal or commercial purposes. You agree not to:

Reproduce, resell, or sublicense our analysis outputs without a commercial license
Scrape or systematically extract data beyond API rate limits
Represent our data as official government assessments
Attempt to reverse-engineer our analysis algorithms

6. Credits and Billing

Tavirex uses a per-report credit system. Credits are purchased as one-time payments via Stripe. Single reports cost 1 credit ($12), report packs provide 5 credits ($35), and API credits are available for developers. All fees are in U.S. dollars and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

7. API Access

API subscribers receive access subject to rate limits. API credentials are non-transferable. We reserve the right to suspend access for abuse.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, analysis methodology, software, and compiled outputs, is owned by Smart Technology Investments LLC. The underlying government datasets are public domain. Our original expression and methodology are proprietary.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SMART TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENTS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time with 14 days' notice of material changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
